Kenny is a sophisticated and well-experienced property professional in the industry, with a finance and commercial law background. Kenny has over 17 years’ experience in the accounting and taxation industry, with clients mainly from Construction and Food & Beverage industry. His familiarity and relationships with the property industry was built throughout the consultancy with clients.

Meanwhile, being a Chief Financial Officer for a property development and management company based both in Australian and China also enabled him to accumulate comprehensive experience in project planning and financial management.

Heidi Mak
HR Manager

Heidi has joined the GLEX team in 2017, and is mainly in charge of organising the internal relations within the company. She is a valuable asset to GLEX as the internal restructuring of the company and the organisation was successful due to her work. Heidi is also an experienced accountant, and is committed to providing quality service to all of our current and future clients.

Cathy Ma
Partner/CPA

Cathy is an experienced accountant specialising in tax affairs, budgeting and analysing. Being a fully qualified CPA with a high distinction average, her solid understanding in the taxation and accounting field enables her to apply key concepts, and provide timely and proactive solutions to clients. She always has the best interest of clients at heart and is always willing to take an extra step to ensure clients are satisfied.

Cathy has been involved with property development division since the division began. She draws on best practice principles, a wealth of knowledge and true innovation to create residential property developments for the most desirable future home.

Sylvi Wu
Assistant Accountant

Sylvi assists the accountants with tax return and financial statements, who has completed all of her CPA exams and is undertaking the requirements to become a fully qualified CPA. She also takes on the responsibility of administration & office support works, and assisting clients liaise with external organisations such as the ATO.

Lydia Tam
Assistant Accountant

Lydia joined the team in 2016 as an Assistant Accountant. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting from the Australian Catholic University and enjoys working closely with the valued clients and team at GLEX Group.

 

Shirley Liew
Director/FCPA

Ms Shirley Liew has over 25 years experience in senior finance, audit and advisory including over 12 years in senior roles at international firm Ernst & Young, and Head of Risk and Audit Partner at Chartered Accounting firms Grant Thornton and Moore Stephens, during which at the time, she was the Audit Partner for various large hospitality groups.

She has also had recent experience as commercial CFO for large iconic Australian brands as well as international companies listed overseas.

Shirley is also an experienced professional non-executive director for both ASX, private and also large public sector organisations, and chair of audit and risk committees.

Gordon Gao
Project Co-ordinator

Gordon is a talented project co-ordinator who is enthusiastic about the property development industry. His primary role has been achieving project success and ensuring the timely completion of different stages of the development and management process. As the budget and financing requirements are crucial to the company’s profits, his dedicated attitude towards his role plays an important part in the fundamentals of the company.

Nelson Liu
Assistant Accountant

Nelson is currently studying his final year at UNSW studying a Bachelor of Commerce and Economics, majoring in Accounting, Finance and Economics. He is also holding both a Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking and a Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, which was achieved in early 2018. Whatever his client needs, he is always happy to help, and will strive to tackle the issue, ensuring the best result for the client with peace of mind. He acts in the best interest for his clients, and is passionate about assisting them to achieve their business and personal goals, by providing top quality advice on their business matters.
